Dreamwool Warranty Guide

Welcome to the Dreamwool family.

Dreamwool mattresses have been lovingly handcrafted in Christchurch for nearly a century. By purchasing the uncompromising quality and craftsmanship of Dreamwool, you can now experience the most luxurious sleep of a lifetime!

The woollen overlay on your mattress is made from pure Merino, sourced directly from select South Island farms. European-inspired design and natural insulation in any season, your Dreamwool mattress is the ultimate in luxury and comfort.

We craft all of our products to the highest possible standards and are committed to our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. While the detail-oriented nature of our hand-crafted manufacturing processes helps to ensure that each mattress reaches you in perfect condition, rarely faults can occur. Should this happen, please contact the retailer where you purchased your Dreamwool mattress.

If a manufacturing fault is found, Dreamwool can repair or replace your mattress in line with the terms detailed in this warranty.

Please note – this warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the mattress with a receipt detailing the purchase from an authorised Dreamwool retailer.

Mattress Setup, Use and Care

We recommend that you always carry your mattress on its side and don’t attempt to move your mattress by yourself. We do not recommend folding a pocketspring mattress as this can damage its edge supports; if you must fold it during transit, do so from head to toe, or you risk splitting the pockets. Latex mattresses can be folded head to toe while in transit, if necessary, but should always be stored flat.

When unwrapping your new mattress, ensure that you dispose of any plastic packaging immediately to keep children, pets, or vulnerable people safe from suffocation risk. Do not remove any informational tags attached to your mattress, as these can contain important care information.

Ensure that your mattress is placed safely in your home, clear of heat or fire sources and on a stable and level foundation. To ensure that your mattress maintains optimum condition, keep it clean and dry, and use an appropriate base for your mattress type. We recommend allowing 30 days for your body to adjust to the feel and support of your mattress.

To care for your mattress over the course of its lifespan, rotate it end-to-end monthly for the first three months and seasonally thereafter. Spot-clean spills and stains as quickly as possible with a damp cloth or a gentle fabric cleaner. Do not saturate the fabric, use harsh cleaners, or scrub with a stiff brush. If in doubt, consult a professional cleaning service.
